Buxton Talking Newspaper is a local voluntary organisation that provides free audio copies of news and features from the ‘Buxton Advertiser’ and other local publications.  It is available free of charge to people who are blind or partially sighted or who have difficulty reading print or holding a newspaper.  We are a member of the Talking News Federation, a national umbrella organisation that helps local talking newspapers provide a comprehensive local news service to those who have would otherwise have difficulty keeping up with life around them.
